Job Summary

The Videographer/Photographer/Video Editor is responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality visual content that showcases events, promotional campaigns, brand activities, and marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in creating engaging multimedia content for digital platforms, social media, websites, presentations, and promotional materials while ensuring consistency with the organization's brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Videography

  • Capture professional photographs and videos during events, campaigns, promotions, product launches, and corporate activities.
  • Plan shots, angles, lighting, and equipment setup to achieve high-quality visual content.
  • Conduct pre-event site visits when necessary to assess filming and photography requirements.
  • Operate cameras, drones (where licensed and permitted), gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Ensure complete coverage of key moments and promotional activities.

Video Editing & Content Production

  • Edit raw footage into compelling videos suitable for marketing, social media, advertisements, and internal communications.
  • Add graphics, animations, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music where appropriate.
  • Produce highlight reels, promotional videos, event recap videos, testimonials, interviews, and short-form social media content.
  • Optimize videos for multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and company websites.

Creative Development

  • Collaborate with the Events & Promotions team to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
  • Recommend visual styles and content ideas that align with campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging content formats.

Asset Management

  • Organize, archive, and maintain photo and video libraries.
  • Ensure proper backup and storage of all digital assets.
  • Maintain consistency in file naming, metadata, and version control.

Equipment Management

  • Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, stabilizers, and editing equipment.
  • Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared and functional before events.

Brand Compliance

  • Ensure all visual content reflects the organization's branding guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency in visual style, color grading, and messaging across all content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and Master degree, Diploma in Photography, Videography, Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in photography, videography, and video editing.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating event coverage, promotional videos, and creative storytelling.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Audition, or equivalent editing software.
  • Experience with DSLR, mirrorless, and professional video camera systems.
  • Knowledge of lighting techniques, composition, color correction, and audio recording.
  • Understanding of social media video formats and platform specifications.
  • Strong storytelling, creativity, and visual communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event management, marketing, advertising, or promotional campaigns.
  • Drone operation certification (where applicable).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
