The Special Education
Teacher is responsible for supporting Upto Grade 2 students with diverse
learning needs in alignment with the
Central Board of Secondary Education
(CBSE) curriculum. The role involves developing and implementing Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs), adapting lesson materials, and providing targeted
interventions to enhance academic and social skills. The teacher collaborates
closely with class teachers, parents, and school counsellors to ensure
inclusive classroom practices. Regular assessment, documentation, and progress
monitoring of students are essential responsibilities. The position also
requires fostering a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes
confidence and independence among students.
