Job Summary:

The Placement Manager is responsible for building strong industry connections, facilitating campus recruitments, and ensuring high placement outcomes for students. The role involves coordinating with companies, preparing students for interviews, and organizing placement drives and career-related events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, HR managers, and industry partners.

  • Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry visits.

  • Liaise with academic departments to align training and placement activities with curriculum.

  • Conduct pre-placement training (interview skills, resume building, aptitude tests, etc.).

  • Track and analyze placement statistics; prepare periodic reports.

  • Ensure students are industry-ready and meet company expectations.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of student placements and employer feedback.

  • Promote internship opportunities and support students through the application process.

  • Collaborate with alumni to explore job opportunities and mentoring support.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.

  • 3–7 years of experience in placement coordination, HR, or corporate liaison.

  • Strong networking and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and placement management software/tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Experience in working with educational institutions.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
