Job Summary:
The Associate Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, guiding student projects, conducting high-quality research, publishing in reputed journals, mentoring junior faculty, and contributing to departmental and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach courses at UG/PG levels in ECE and related interdisciplinary areas.

Develop curriculum, course materials, and innovative teaching methods.

Supervise B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. student projects, dissertations, and research work.

Publish research papers in Scopus / SCI indexed journals and present at national/international conferences.

Apply for funded research projects from government and private agencies.

Mentor Assistant Professors and Research Scholars.

Participate in departmental activities such as accreditation, syllabus framing, and academic audits.

Engage in industry collaboration, consultancy, and MoUs for academic development.

Provide academic and career guidance to students.

Contribute to institutional committees and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:
-
Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or relevant specialization.

Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, of which at least 3 years as Assistant Professor.

Strong publication record in reputed journals.

Experience in securing funded research projects.

Involvement in professional bodies (IEEE, IETE, ISTE, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:
Excellent subject knowledge in ECE domains such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, Communication Systems, IoT, AI/ML in ECE, etc.
Strong research aptitude and analytical skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Academic leadership and mentoring ability.
Proficiency in modern teaching tools (LMS, online platforms, simulation software, etc.)
