Job Description
Teaching:
Deliver high-quality instruction in CSE courses at the undergraduate and potentially graduate levels, including developing course materials, assessments, and engaging students in active learning.
Research:
Conduct research in a specialised area of CSE, publish findings in reputable journals and conferences, seek external funding through grants, and collaborate with colleagues and industry partners.
Student Supervision:
Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research projects, theses, and dissertations, providing guidance and support for their academic and professional development.
Curriculum Development:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the CSE curriculum, integrating emerging technologies, industry trends, and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Service and Outreach:
Engage in departmental and university service activities, participate in academic committees, contribute to community outreach initiatives, and foster collaborations with industry and professional organisations.
Qualifications
- M.E/M.TECH. in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in a specific area of computer science
- Strong publication record in reputable journals and conferences
- Experience teaching computer science courses at the university level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
