Job Title: Head, Innovation and Startup Cell
Qualifications:
- Essential: Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Application
- Desirable: MBA in Marketing, Finance, or Entrepreneurship, or ME in any Engineering discipline, or MSc in Computer Science or Computer Application or any other equivalent
Experience:
- Proven experience in leading and managing innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in industry or academia.
- Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, including incubation, acceleration, and venture capital processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, nurture, and scale innovative ideas.
- Experience in fostering collaborations between industry, academia, and government.
- Experience in facilitating design thinking workshops and conducting hackathons.

- Lead and manage the Innovation and Startup Cell.

- Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of innovation.
- Organize and conduct design thinking workshops and hackathons.
- Facilitate mentorship and coaching programs for startups.
- Assist startups in filing patents and intellectual property rights.
- Collaborate with industry partners, investors, and government agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Innovation and Startup Cell.
- Promote the institute's innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
