Job Summary:
We are looking for a visionary academic leader to head the AI & DS department. The HoD will be responsible for driving academic excellence, industry collaboration, faculty development, research initiatives, and student success in the department.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead curriculum development, innovation, and regular upgradation based on industry trends.

Mentor faculty members in teaching, research, and professional growth.

Coordinate departmental academic planning, timetabling, and resource allocation.

Foster partnerships with industry for projects, internships, and placements.

Promote student-centered learning, mentoring, and career guidance.

Oversee departmental administrative duties, budgets, and accreditations (e.g., NAAC, NBA).

Encourage faculty and student research, publications, and patents.

Represent the department in institutional and academic forums.
Qualifications & Experience:

Ph.D. in Computer Science / AI / Data Science or a related field (mandatory).

Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 5 years in a senior academic position.

Proven leadership and administrative capabilities.

Strong publication and research background.
Skills Required:

Excellent knowledge of AI, ML, Data Science, Python, Deep Learning, etc.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Familiarity with AICTE, UGC, and accreditation processes.
