Roles and Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver lectures, conduct laboratory sessions, and guide students in understanding core concepts of Biotechnology.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to developing and updating course materials, syllabus, and assessment methods to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Research: Engage in scholarly research activities, publish papers in reputable journals, and collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects.
- Mentorship: Provide academic and career guidance to students, supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, and serve as a mentor for aspiring researchers.
- Service: Participate in departmental and university committees, contribute to academic governance, and engage in outreach activities to promote Biotechnology education and research.
Qualification:
First Class Bachelors & Masters Degree (M.TECH/M.E) in the discipline with good academic record.
Have previous experience of the practical implementation of the knowledge acquired, with evidences, on the curriculum and program development.
Experience of guiding the project/dissertation work of under-graduate/post graduate or research students and/or supervising R & D projects.
