Job Title: System Administrator
Job Summary:
The Junior System Administrator supports the installation, maintenance, and daily operation of IT systems and networks. This role assists in ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining servers, desktops, and operating systems.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
Support user account management (creation, access, permissions).
Install and update software, patches, and antivirus tools.
Provide first-level technical support to end users.
Maintain system documentation and asset records.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience (freshers may apply).
